Eric joined Expansion Therapeutics in February of 2024 as Senior Director, Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. Previously, he was the Director of Platform at Stoke Therapeutics, where he spent seven years building and leading a team focused on leveraging splice-switching antisense oligonucleotides to treat the underlying cause of genetic diseases. Prior to Stoke, Eric held various computational positions at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, H3 Biomedicine, and AVEO Oncology. Additionally, he currently serves as a scientific advisor at Everlum Bio. Eric holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computational Biology from Brown University, where his research centered on using computational biology and high-throughput genomics techniques to identify functional splicing elements in the genome. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Texas.
